Rooted in weirdness & wellness
You don’t need to have it together to walk through this door.
A space to bring the mess, the mind, and everything in between.
Meet Megan
Hey there and welcome! I am so glad you are here.
I don’t expect you to walk in with the perfect words for what you’re feeling, figuring that out together is part of the work. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and rooted in curiosity.
I help clients better understand themselves, emotionally, mentally, and physically—so they can navigate life with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust. I primarily work with adults navigating trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and major life transitions, supporting them in reconnecting with their emotions, reducing unhelpful patterns, and cultivating a greater sense of empowerment and peace in daily life.
My approach integrates mindfulness, body-based practices, and evidence-based interventions. I help clients notice how the body holds information about stress, safety, and unmet needs, strengthen emotional regulation, reduce reactivity, and develop a deeper sense of agency, applying practical strategies both in and outside of therapy.
I tailor therapy to each client’s values and goals, balancing skill-building, reflection, and deeper exploration. Clients can expect a compassionate, engaged, playful, and direct approach when helpful.
Outside of work, I enjoy martial arts, being outdoors, and caring for my cats, reflecting my values of balance, embodiment, curiosity, and personal growth.

I am a self-pay practice and do not accept insurance directly. However, I use Thrizer to help clients utilize their out-of-network (OON) benefits, if available through their insurance plan.
Good Faith Estimate: If you are paying for services out of pocket, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care under the No Surprises Act. This estimate is provided to help you have a clear understanding of anticipated costs and feel more prepared when planning for therapy.
You are welcome to request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during your care. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charge. Life happens. I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows are charged at the full session rate of $150. However, if we’re able to reschedule your session within the same week, there is no cancellation fee.
Note: Repeated last-minute cancellations may impact our ability to work together effectively, as consistency is an important part of therapy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia ( License #LPC014269). I have over 4 years of experience working with adults in PHP/IOP settings, supporting clients with higher-acuity mental health concerns, as well as over 2 years of experience providing individual therapy.
My work primarily focuses on trauma and stress related to childhood experiences, relationships and family dynamics, and developing a healthier relationship with self, and building a more connected relationship with stress and the body. I also completed specialized training in Somatic EMDR through The Embody Lab in 2024.

It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous or unsure about starting therapy. Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another, talk about what brings you to therapy, and explore what you’re hoping to work toward. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say.
My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, heard, and understood. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you, and you’re always encouraged to ask questions along the way.
